Turning 31…..

I know I know….when did I get so old? I’m confused too guys😉

I’m almost 31 (screaming Yaaay)

I used to think being 30 is being old, but standing where I am my perspective has shifted. I still feel like a kid inside while playing the adult card on the outside.

Turning 30 didn’t hit me as hard as I feel when I’m about to turn the big 3-1!! I don’t know why but I can feel the pressure. I’m at a stage in life where most of my friends are almost married, have kids or planning on having kids.

So what does a young woman (wait, I’m still considered “young” at 31 aye!?) feel about the new age? I’m anxious, I’ve stressed a little, I have flashbacks of the past 10 years wondering if I’ve made the right decisions and choices. I’m under the impression I haven’t accomplished anything (or not enough).

What did turning 30 do to me you may ask…….well, I have never felt this good in my own skin, in my own head and in my own shoes. I’m 31, full of life and fabulous!
